For over 30 years Magnum Materials have specialized in the supply of narrow rolls of self-adhesive materials of all types. A long-standing distributor for Fasson and 3M. Also supplying films, synthetic papers, digital laser and carton materials, with contract slitting undertaken from their modern facilities located in Cheshire.
Managing director Stuart Botterman comments: Magnum offers a unique slitting and distribution service to reduce lead times and maximise productivity. Manufacturers of materials are becoming less flexible about slit patterns that are available and minimum slitting widths. Magnum is keen to slit materials as required no matter how big or small, this within itself creates manufacturing challenges.
After a live demonstration at BGM, working with some of our very difficult substrates, it was conclusive that the all-new BGM iSR truly was in a class of its own when it came to cost, capability, design and build quality. True to their word the machine was delivered and installed on time and without any complications, since the installation our output has increased by nearly 150% on some of our most challenging jobs as opposed to our existing narrow web slitter rewinders.
