PrintCare – a scheme aimed at taking the strain and cost out of complying with environmental legislation – has been launched by the British Printing Industries Federation and waste manage-ment specialists Silver Lining Industries. It answers a need to unravel complex environmental legislation for a growing number of print and packaging com-panies that may be unwittingly breaking the law.
Among its services will be a free phone help line for regulatory, environmental and waste management advice, updates on legislation and a waste management self-assess-ment check and site audit.
PrintCare is open to all companies in the printing industry.
