Robolift – a linked carriage positioner for format changes – has been developed by Bett Sistemi to offer considerable time-savings when swapping between packaging applications.

The Robolift is said to make lighter work of format changes whether manual, carried out with crank, handwheel or gear motor. Up to seven programs can be set with the miniverter, part of the company’s own PC software.

Positioners can be produced measuring up to 6m with up to 36 carriages to speed up snags in the packaging line. It is designed to resolve format change problems of bundling or the channeling of products on such machines as bottle packers, carton machines and tray wrappers.

Robolift has a maximum shaft torque of 40N/m and can move up to four positioners linked to five carriages each.
