Featuring glossy metallic appearance, the new metalized paper has optimum brightness and is made of 100% recyclable mono-material.

The new Metalvac G paper, which extends the company’s portfolio of Metalvac products, is a range of high substance papers (from 105 g/m2 to 170g/m2).

Additionally, the new Metalvac G range allows creation of exclusive packaging, especially for premium look envelopes and gift bags with Metalvac G 105g/m2, and for board lamination for rigid boxes and prestige packaging with Metalvac G 115 – 170 g/m2, Lacta said.

The firm noted that the new paper guarantees the best results in offset, UV offset, flexography and silkscreen printing. It is also suitable for hot-melt and water-based glues.

Lacta said in a statement: “The new Metalvac G paper is featured in the latest sample collection Graphic Applications & Packaging under the slogan “LET IT SHINE”.

“Along with two other catalogues from the collection, Wet-glue Labels and Pressure-sensitive Labels, it rounds out Lecta’s extensive and versatile Metalvac metallized paper portfolio.”

In addition to Metalvac G, the firm’s Graphic Applications & Packaging segment comprises low substance metalized papers for gift-wrap paper (Metalvac R), food wrappers (Metalvac F), inner-liners for cigarette packets (Metalvac T).

Made with ECF woodfree pulp, the entire Metalvac range complies with ISO 14001 and EMAS environmental management standards, ISO 50001 energy management standard, ISO 9001 quality standard and OHSAS 18001 occupational health and safety standard.

Lecta is engaged in supplying papers for labels, flexible packaging, commercial printing, publishing, thermal printing, business forms and self-adhesives.

The firm’s products are used by customers in a wide variety of markets including publishers, printers, paper merchants and converters in more than 130 countries.
