Law Print Pack deliver McAdams latest Pet Food Packaging
Law Print Pack have successfully delivered new packaging for McAdams Pet Food, Free Range Chicken & Salmon 5kg & 10kg bags. McAdams premium dog foods use whole British free range chickens and stands as the only meal free food from DEFRA approved, ethical farms across the UK. Their aim is to deliver the best quality dog food to help support ethical, cruelty free British farming.
To support their brand ethos, McAdams Pet Food required premium product packaging and contacted Law Print to ensure the smooth delivery from concept to print of quality product to stores across the UK. After working on the original Free Range Chicken bags, Law Print developed packaging for their new product ‘Free Range Chicken & Scottish Salmon’ in both 5Kg and 10Kg sizes.
The 5Kg bags were produced in the premium flat bottom format, to ensure great shelf presence in store. The flat bottom bag enables excellent stability, a ‘box shape’ and has 5 graphic panels available to design.
A quad seal bag was chosen for the 10Kg bag, as this style was preferable for the heavier weight, whilst also maintaining on-shelf presentation and free standing ability.
To coincide with their natural product containing real meat & fish, the bags also included an inner metallised film to keep the food fresh and lock in the slow roasted aromas.
The team at Law Print were supplied with artwork previews to then offer technical in house feedback in ways to improve. We were able to help and amend any errors quickly and efficiently in our design facilities.
The outer design was printed in high quality rotogravure including a metallic gold ink and an all over matt varnish – this really reflected the brand’s premium image and helps to stand out from the crowd.
