Lab Clean, a provider of health and beauty soaps for personal care, has launched a new sustainable liquid Eco-Refill box for its plant-derived foaming hand soap.

Lab Clean’s Eco-Refill box consists of a convenient spout near its base, which allows the user to dispense product without lifting and pouring from a heavy plastic bottle.

According to the company, the design of the new Eco-Refill box will help users to avoid spills.

Lab Clean has launched its sustainable liquid Eco-Refill box programme under the Bayes brand.

The Bayes Eco-Refill is produced using recyclable and biodegradable corrugated material, minimising plastic use during production by 70%.

The internal plastic bag, which holds the soap refill consists of up to 25% of the packaging.

Lab Clean has produced Bayes Foaming Hand Soap using plant-derived ingredients, which is confirmed by the USDA as “Biobased Certified.”

Lab Clean CEO Mark Cunningham said: “We are introducing the best, most convenient refill packaging option, resulting in a tremendous reduction in waste. Our customer base always challenges us to look for ways to reduce plastic, and it made sense to introduce the Eco-Refill program.

“We have already inspired several other manufacturing partners which are now interested in changing their current packaging to the refill box option.”

The company, which is focusing on sustainable packaging, is offering its new Eco-Refill box on Amazon.
