Kush Bottles, a US-based provider of packaging, containers, and other ancillary products for the cannabis industry, has launched new labeling, printing and in-house application capabilities and technology.

The firm said its new capabilities are intended to shorten the lead time for labeling processes and continue its expansion of diversified suite of products and services for the cannabis supply chain.

Additionally, the new capabilities will eliminate the need for customers to work with multiple vendors and eliminate application labor on some of the company’s SKUs, including a variety of pop-tops and glass jars.

With new capabilities, the firm said it will have all its own equipment, tooling and materials necessary to process its customers’ customized packaging needs.

Kush Bottles CEO Nick Kovacevich said: “The addition of these advanced labeling capabilities speaks directly to the true ‘one-stop-shop’ nature of Kush Bottles.

“As we continue to diversify our offerings, we are adding value and economies of scale for our customer base. For example, we can now take what used to be a two-three-week turnaround time and reduce that by up to two-thirds.

“The more nimble we can be and the more we can take on for our customers, the quicker they can get their products to market.”

Some of the company’s new machines include the Vanguard Digital Flatbed UV Printer designed to allow users to directly print to a wide variety of our flower jar lids and concentrate containers; Epson Large Format Digital Printer for low quantity runs, prototyping and samples.

The new capabilities also include Summa Flatbed Finisher for producing innovative signage, displays, samples, packaging applications, and printing templates; Industrial Label Finishers for high-output custom labels; and Industrial Color Label Printers for high capacity label printing in-house.

Other machines include the Custom Label Application Equipment designed to eliminate the hassle of hand-applying labels on some of the company’s SKU’s.
