Ipex selling strongly

Ipex 2006 organizer IIR Exhibitions says optimism in the print and graphic arts industry was reflected in the number of early exhibitor signings secured at drupa. Sales levels outstripped those at the same point during the 2000 campaign, as 135 companies committed to take 33,000m² of space – 46 per cent of the total target area. The 2006 event will run from April 4 -11 at the NEC in Birmingham, UK.

Exhibition director Trevor Crawford confirms: “We’re beginning to see a revival of confidence boosted by growth from the emerging territories in Asia. In the past, many larger players have been reluctant to confirm plans until a much later stage, but our progress so far is testament to the fact that the industry is on the up.”
