Interface improves access to data

NDC has launched an icon driven version of the operator interface for its IG710 series of moisture and coatweight analyzers. It is said to give fast, easy access for more informed decision making and closer process control. Evolved from close consultation with customers, it allows the user to create, copy, store and edit settings for any number of discrete products.

The new interface makes it more convenient for users to communicate with multiple gauges, giving central accessibility to the measurement values and set-up parameters for each unit, for more simple, functional and efficient control. The IG710 now automatically generates a permanent record of its long term stability every time NDC’s Automatic Reference Standard auto-check facility is used.

Now standard with all new gauges, the interface can also be used with existing IG710 instruments. It features a VGA TFT LCD colour touchscreen with back light to give high definition displays of the measurement and set-up information. A USB port allows PC connection for calibration and diagnostic purposes.
