Speciality packaging distributor Innovative Packaging Company (IPC) has acquired US-based Landmark Packaging for an undisclosed sum.

Established in 2012 and based in Colorado, Landmark Packaging provides custom packaging solutions for small to medium businesses.

The company manufactures and supplies various packaging materials, including boxes, bags, labels, janitorial supplies and personal protective equipment to Colorado businesses.

The acquisition will integrate two regional speciality packaging companies to establish a platform for food and beverage, industrial, and cannabis businesses across the western US.

Landmark co-founder Paul Landwehr said: “Building Landmark over the last 10+ years has been one of the most rewarding experiences because of the relationships we have made – both with our employees and our customers.

“Jeff, Mark and I are excited for what this partnership will mean for those stakeholders. We look forward to joining the IPC team and continuing to serve our loyal customers with the same high level of rigour, reliability and passion.”

Landmark will also enable IPC to expand its geographic presence to the greater Colorado region and strengthen its leadership team with the addition of two Landmark founders Paul Landwehr and Jeff Kammerer.

IPC is also planning to acquire partner businesses, in addition to the current acquisition.

IPC CEO Ted DeHaan said: “Our core tenant is enabling customers to meet aspirational goals with world-class, reliable and customised packaging solutions.

“This partnership enables us to level-up our offering with a more robust supply chain, extensive warehouse footprint and comprehensive product offering.”

IPC was established in 2012 to meet the custom and stock packaging requirements of food and beverage, industrial, and cannabis businesses in the Pacific Northwest.
