Arange of ink systems for flexo and letterpress applications has been introduced by Akzo Nobel Inks for paper, films, labels, folding cartons and flexible packaging applications.
The new systems include Flexocure Gemini – a range of high performance, low odour UV flexo inks for unsupported films and wraparound labels.
Uvoscreen II Combiwhite is an opaque white ink for combination printing with UV flexo. It is said to offer 20% greater opacity than other screen inks.
Newly introduced to the UK market is Uvokett Ebony and Uvokett Ivory, claimed to be the blackest black and whitest white for use in UV letterpress applications.
