Fischer & Krecke has purchased the Icoma FBS paper sack and bag machinery business from Korsnas for an undisclosed sum. Achern, Germany, based Icoma’s products will now be marketed through another recently acquired F&K company, Kochsiek.
Icoma, manufactures machinery for production, transportation, and filling of multiply paper sacks and bags. These ideally complement Kochsiek’s sack making machinery, while the outer layer of paper is generally preprinted on F&K presses.
This amalgamation allows Kochsiek to offer a complete solution for paper sack and bag production.
