The ICE (International Converting Exhibition) Steering Committee recently met to agree on the key technologies for the show, on November 18-20, 2003, at the MOC in Munich. It was decided the event will focus on 10 areas: base materials: paper, film, foil, non wovens; web based reel to reel converting; extrusion coating; vacuum coating (metallizing); coating; laminating; surface treatment; drying and curing; slitting and winding; and finishing.
The inaugural ICE Congress will comprise four half-day sessions to cover key technology developments, market trends, manufacturing processes and educational issues.
