OptiLabel HB, from NewPage Corp, is a 54 lb high performance general purpose label paper for pressure sensitive (PS) applications. The new facestock is said to maintain a premium appearance and consistently perform well in all aspects of production, from pressure sensitive laminating and label printing, to die cutting and high speed label application.
OptiLabel HB is manufactured on the Number 3 paper machine at NewPage’s Escanaba, Michigan, mill. The state-of-the-art machine was recently converted to manufacture release liner and label facestock papers for the PS industry.
