Crusader Europe, a company in the Wrapid Packaging Systems group, has installed two TESAB TS9000 checkweighers at Hallmark on lines producing packs of greetings cards and envelopes for its biggest customer, Marks & Spencer.

The PC-based electronic system is said to provide optimum communication possibilities to other computer systems and “many operational parameters can be stored”. Information on the display includes piece-count with average weight, actual average weight, a count of overs and unders and a record of the line speed which can be as high as 400 units/min.
