H.B. Fuller meets the Sustainability Challenge in France

H.B. Fuller Company  will be showcasing an expanded range of hot melt adhesives targeted at improving packaging sustainability at this year’s CFIA, Rennes, France. The team led by Christine Vidal will be explaining how its portfolio of Advantra hot melt adhesives can help customers stay ahead of the game.

With market reports indicating continued growth in food packaging, manufacturers are under increasing pressure to find new ways to reduce waste and deliver more sustainable packaging solutions. In response to this, global adhesives manufacturer – H.B. Fuller – is expanding its range of hot melt adhesives and making it easier for customers to take advantage of innovative adhesive technology with the appointment of Christine Vidal, dedicated geographic sales manager for H.B. Fuller Packaging Solutions in France.

With extensive experience in packaging solutions, Vidal explains: “The trend toward more sustainable packaging solutions is clear, and suppliers to the packaging industry can play a pivotal role in making it happen. At H.B. Fuller, we believe success lies in combining sustainable packaging materials with innovative adhesive technology, in particular the use of low temperature hot melt adhesives.”

“The latest advances from H.B. Fuller in this area include Advantra LT 9110, which will be showcased at this year’s CFIA exhibition,” Vidal confirms.

H.B. Fuller’s latest Advantra LT 9110 hot melt adhesive is applied at temperatures as low as 100°C to 110°C and enables manufacturers to improve working place safety for their operators. Lower application temperatures are translated into reduced energy consumption and consequently into lower CO2 emissions, improving the carbon footprint of the package.

“At H.B. Fuller, our ethos is about connecting what matters – fitting the pieces of the puzzle together for the benefit of our customers,” adds Vidal. “Events are a great opportunity for us to showcase our products and demonstrate how our team of technical experts can make a difference to the sustainability of our customers’ solutions – so we would invite anyone attending CFIA to visit booth C6 Hall 7 to find out more.”
