A breakthrough in two-piece food can gauging has been achieved by a UK designer-manufacturer. TMS Technology has designed a new generation of gauge where the can manufacturer requires accurate and time saving efficiencies on its production lines.
The first of the company’s new generation of gauges has been developed for a two-piece food can manufacturer in Canada which claims to save three man hours for every inspection process.
The great advantage of the TMS Technology is the ability of the gauge to inspect bead measurement to accuracies of +/-0.0004 which is what the can manufac-turer requires.
