Harper Corp of America has launched the ‘Harper Graphic Solutions Division’ to provide services not usually available within the flexographer’s organization. Its technical team will offer real-time problem solving and process improvements within customer’s facilities – from developing a tracking system for anilox rolls to implementing a care and maintenance programme to any pre-press issue a customer may have.
Says manager David Brewer: “In this day and age, when our customers are cutting staff to increase margins, HGS will guarantee the success of the programmes with a return on investment in as little as 30 days in many cases”. Services provided include the GET Programme, Colour Management Training, Graphic Team Meetings, Press Room Management, Fingerprint Process Management, Doctor Blade Evaluations, Scientific Maintenance Programmes and the Anilox Protection Programme.
New appointments to the HGS are Todd Luman as customer product analyst, Alex James as prepress consultant, Neressia Ross as graphic solutions analyst, and Bill Poulson as Northeast graphic consultant.
