Sappi Fine Paper Europe introduced Algro Design at Drupa 2004. The product is a high white and soft touch one-side coated SBS board aimed at the upmarket beauty, household and healthcare markets.
Manufactured in grammages from 160g/m2 to 330g/m2, the blue-white board for packaging is Sappi’s first venture into the rigid packaging sector.
The company says it has been developed at its Alfeld mill in Germany to be the whitest board on the market, “offering excellent offset printability, and resulting in enhanced colour contrast”.
