Specialised distributor and solution provider Envoy Solutions has acquired United Packaging, a US-based distributor of packaging, shipping, safety, and janitorial supplies, for an undisclosed sum.
With this acquisition, Envoy Solutions is increasing its geographic reach in the Northeast, where it already has a significant presence with existing companies, while continuing to improve its packaging capabilities.
The deal will help the firm to strengthen its position as a specialised distributor and solution provider in packaging, facility care, food service, and marketing execution.

Established in 1992 and based in Pennsylvania, United Packaging helps clients to manage their packaging operations as effectively as possible by managing inventory, streamlining packaging, better equipment, and decreasing safety issues.
With the support of Envoy Solutions, the firm will now have access to new goods and services.

In July this year, Envoy Solutions acquired Sunbelt Packaging, which provides a diversified inventory of flexible packaging materials and a wide range of automated packaging equipment.
