Winkler+Dünnebier now supplies all its machines with digital spare parts catalogues and complete operating instructions in PDF format. The ‘electronic catalogues’ provide machine overviews to permit rapid location of spare parts. A search function allows parts to be located and placed in a virtual shopping basket. The order can then be printed, saved or sent by email.

Further processing in MS Office applications is possible, ideal for training or the familiarization of operating staff.

W+D has also compiled a package which enables machine operators to diagnose malfunctions in detail and, in many cases, eliminate them directly. The EnveDiag package uses data in the analysis which is not available with a modem based diagnosis, such as real motor currents and angle-time diagrams. It comprises a hand-held notebook with the hardware and software required for diagnosis and analysis; a Scopemeter to register and store electrical measurement values; and a digital camera for photos and short video sequences, for documentation and clarification of processes.
