EFTA Awards 2005

Entry Forms for the EFTA Annual Print Awards 2005 are now available from the association. Classes included flexible packaging, labels, corrugated board, preprint and sacks, envelopes and tissue packaging. Special Awards are made for the use of Special Effect Inks Technical Achievement, Best Print Compared to Proof, Best Print Previously Produced using Another Process, Training, Outstanding Achievement, Repro Company of the Year and Supplier of the Year.

A new category this year is Best Print ‘Off the Shelf’, in which printers will be asked to supply a proof and EFTA will obtain samples of the product direct from the end user. The winners of each class will be judged against each other for the supreme Best in Show Award, Sponsors of the Print Awards include tesa, BASF, Dupont, Asahi Photoproducts, 3M, Eckart, Sun Chemical, Kodak Polychrome Graphics, ANI Inks, Windmöller and Hölscher, PCMC Flexo, Gilchrist, Creo, Esko-Graphics and Macdermid Printing Solutions.

The event will culminate in a Gala Dinner at the Hilton Metropole NEC on March 16, 2005.
