Domino’s facility, which also includes 10m high warehousing space, will be used for shipping finished products directly to the company’s customers, sales channels and more than 200 distributors across the world.

The new fluids manufacturing facility is integrated with latest technology, including in-line mixing capability, palletisation systems, advanced materials handling processes, automated filling lines with high speed rotary filling heads and robotic automated handling systems.

The new facility has created 19 new jobs, and will take the total workforce to 88 over the next nine months.

Domino CEO Nigel Bond said: : “I’m delighted to be opening our new production facility, which is a further major investment for our company and follows the recent opening of our new factory in Shanghai serving the local market in China and the expansion of our HQ buildings in Cambridge.

“These collective investments demonstrate our confidence in the business, the robustness of the markets we serve and our ambition to grow our market share and provide our customers with the highest service levels possible.”
