On the Creo stand at Labelexpo, in Brussels, BASF showed its new generation of digital nyloprint plates for letterpress in combination with its proven digital product range for flexo printing. The BASF plates were imaged live on Creo’s ThermoFlex Narrow CTP system.
Creo also demonstrated two packaging solutions: Prinergy Powerpack, the PDF based integrated and automated workflow management system for packaging converters and trade shops, and Brisque Pack, the CT/LW packaging solution with step-and-repeat options. The Synapse InSite Internet portal into prepress was also featured. It is said to help shorten production cycles and reduce costs.
