Aprion Digital has sold a total of 13 of its new Shaldag SP industrial high speed inkjet presses since the launch at Corrugated 2002.
Asa Ziv, vp of marketing, says: “Having the SP running live and producing brilliant results enabled customers to understand fully what on-demand, short run corrugated printing means. The orders have been received from Israel, France, Italy, Spain and the US.” The presses have been successfully beta tested by Carmel Containers, of Israel, and US based Menasha Display.
The Shaldag SP is offered as a complete solution for short run corrugated printing, at 40 sheets/hour. It is based on Aprion’s patented MAGIC piezo based, drop-on-demand technology, which employs water based inks and enables controlled ejection of drops at a rate of 25,000/s.
