Two new presses installed by Rock-Tenn are both said to be the first of their type in North America. One is a dotrix the.factory wide web UV inkjet digital press in the company’s Winston–Salem, NC, plant; the other is a Moog sheet-fed gravure press installed in Candiac, Quebec.
Rock-Tenn ceo Jim Rubright explains: “Our new dotrix press represents a breakthrough for point-of-purchase display merchandizing. It makes a broad range of customized display solutions economic for the first time. Our new sheet-fed gravure press is a major advance in our printing capabilities for high end health and beauty packaging.”
