Deacro slitters into Europe

UK based TS Converting Equipment and Deacro Industries, of Ontario, Canada, have formed a partnership for the exclusive sale and support throughout Europe of Deacro’s slitters, salvage rewinders and roll lock differential shafts.

“We are the largest supplier of centre winders to the North American market,” says Ed de Boer, president of Deacro. “This partnership will launch our products and services into the European market aggressively, as we hope to become the number one worldwide”

TS has already replaced its range of Elite Cameron centre winders with the Deacro products, but will continue to manufacture centre surface slitter rewinders, two-drum winders, hotmelt coating machines, laminators, and core cutters in its Taunton facility. The Deacro differential shafts will be sold alongside its own models, enabling the company to offer both indirect units with torque activated, concentric gripping units, and direct acting units for maximum strength.
