Rayovac, a division of Spectrum Brands, has combined its most advanced hearing aid battery technology with innovative packaging.
The company said its new PRO LINE Advanced combines long lasting power with an easy to use package.
Rayovac said its new Active Core Technology which can deliver up to two more days of battery life than its previous product.
To achieve high quality performance, the Active Core Technology uses an optimised form to provide more critical ingredients and deliver more capacity than Rayovac’s previous design.
The advanced anode is claimed to offer high quality performance through the life of the battery. The secure seal on the battery provide cell stability under extreme conditions.
Besides the improved technology, the company is claimed to have re-invented the traditional dial-package. Rayovac states that its research showed that patients had issues with their hearing aid battery packaging.
To address this issue, the company made the package easier to handle and added several new features that keep the batteries clean, more secure and protected than the previous Rayovac packaging.
The new packaging features a lock dial system, which prevents the package from spinning freely and gives the user more control. There is a prominent forward-facing door that allows that user to see and lift each individual battery out of the package without having to flip the package over.
The tabs are wider and longer, allowing to see, remove and handle batteries in an easy manner. The user friendly size and shape of the package is designed to fit easily in open hand and has perforated rounded edge, making the dial removable for convenient transport and storage.
