Dassault Perfect Package’s artwork and labeling capability has enabled Barilla to streamline label design and approval and thus reduced packaging development times and costs.

The solution also helped the food company reduce artwork design time, while improving regulatory compliance.

Perfect Package offers Barilla’s stakeholders with a dedicated labeling solution and secure digital access to its most up to date product information, based on the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform.

This will allow stakeholders to avoid exchanging paper samples and cut down labeling creation cycle time, accelerating label design and approval.

Barilla IT business process support director Marco Rossi said the company can digitally exchange ideas faster, and with few to no packaging recalls with the new industry solution.

"With the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform, all our stakeholders can collaborate from idea generation to validation of the final Barilla package using a digital representation of the same master label," Rossi added.

Dassault Systèmes corporate strategy, industry and marketing executive vice president Monica Menghini said, "Five to eight seconds is all you’ve got. That’s how long it takes shoppers to find and select the right product for their family."
