The label machinery division of Sessions of York is back into business after it was bought from an administrator, the P&A Patrnership, by Adrian Barraclough, the owner of local investment group, Aduasi.

Adrian has paid the administrator a six-figure sum to own the Sessions of York machinery. The new firm is renamed as Sessions Label Solutions.

Sessions Label Solutions is headed by Simon Davy and Gary Hall, the technical and sales managers, respectively, of the former company. In pursuant to the deal all the three divisions of Sessions of York have been sold. The 199-year-old label printer, has been sold since it went into administration on 21 April.

The label printing division was bought by Paragon Print & Packaging at the end of April and the smaller commercial printing division was later sold to Leeds firm Technoprint.

Sessions Label Solutions is still trading from the Huntingdon Road site it occupied prior to the administration. The business is likely to move to another site in the York area before the end of the year.

Audasi also owns Quickslide, a sash window maker with turnover of around £7m.
