Rotatek is to present its Combi press at Emballage at this year’s Emballage show (Paris, November 22-26, 2004). The hybrid offset-flexo press is designed for high quality printing of labels and packaging, especially in the wine and cosmetic industry. It integrates systems such as offset, flexo, silkscreen, hot stamping, and the latest technology of cold stamping, where the glue can be applied either with a flexo or an offset printing unit. In addition, the modular construction of the press allows inclusion of a variety of processing and finishing units, all in-line.
The machine has a maximum web width of 440mm and a maximum speed of 150m/min (roll to roll). Rotatek will be display the machine with a new separate label delivery.
