Carton substrate combination

Appleton claims that its new MoistureBloc folding carton barrier packaging provides superior protection from moisture vapour damage for consumer dry goods without the need for a separate overwrap or laminated film.

This barrier coating applied to the inside of the pack is said to offer a more cost effective packaging solution. It also meets FDA requirements for food packaging, is said to be easy to print and convert – and is recyclable and repulpable.
