Canon U.S.A. has launched new imagePRESS Server H300 from Canon, powered by EFI Fiery technology.
It is designed particularly for the imagePRESS C850 and C750 digital presses for commercial printing and in-plant production, as well as the imagePRESS C65 digital press for creative design production operations.
The new imagePRESS Server H300 DFE uses EFI’s Fiery technology designed for offering high image quality, performance and easy to use automated workflows for the three presses.
The imagePRESS Server H300 is based on EFI’s Fiery NX Pro hardware platform and Fiery FS200 Pro system software, which features a sleek and modern design.
Fiery QuickTouch software on the H300 server’s LCD colour touchscreen display can offer faster view of job status and easier device management. With few taps, the touchscreen display can give operators easy access to intuitive system installation, backup and restore functions, along with system diagnostics information.
The ImagePRESS Server H300 is claimed to be designed to offer high image quality, colour management and image processing performance, even on complex files. Its advanced Fiery DFE technology can process the new Ghent PDF Output Suite version 5.0, which can help print providers create output that can reflect the true intent of the graphic designers.
EFI MIS/ERP and web-to-print products can be seamlessly integrated with Canon’s PRISMA software suite of workflow essentials for production print and other prepress workflow solutions which include Kodak PRINERGY, Heidelberg Prinect and Agfa Apogee. These have been designed to offer shop automation and to increase productivity.
