C-P Flexible Packaging (C-P) has acquired US-based printed packaging films provider Prestige-Pak for an undisclosed sum.
Prestige-Pak is a second generation and family-owned converter focused on the manufacturing of printed packaging films for the retail food markets.
The company offers flexographic printing with laminating capabilities for the snack food, confectionery, bakery, medical, pet food and dry goods industries.
Prestige-Pak claims that it has the potential to create multiple substrate combinations as per the customers’ requirements for aesthetics, barrier and extended shelf life.
It also provides pre-press services, including retouching, image assembly, file creation, colour separation and digital/film output and image carrier preparation.
Prestige-Pak president Vince Kuber said: “We are excited to join C-P and see our two companies as highly complementary. The new, larger organisation will provide our customers with a broader portfolio of products and access to C-P’s sustainable technologies.”

The US-based printed packaging films provider adds C-P Flexible with a range of capabilities such as 10-colour flexographic printing, laminating, custom slitting and different prepress services.

In May this year, C-P Flexible Packaging purchased new advanced converting lines to expand its pre-made polyethylene bag manufacturing capabilities.
Established in 1958, C-P Flexible Packaging offers flexible packaging products, including HD printed rollstock, premade pouches, shrink sleeves, stretch sleeves, poly bags, roll-fed labels, reclose, cold-seal flow wrap, compostable and recyclable flexible packaging.
