German based BST International has opened a new production and sales operation in Songjiang/Shanghai. The one hundred per cent subsidiary, BST International Shanghai Co, with an initial 15 local employees, will supply the Chinese market and organize sales and service in the East Asian region. BST has been present in China for over 20 years through commercial agencies and a representation office. Jenny Zhang, the previous head of the representation office, is now managing director of the new subsidiary.
