Under the deal, Brückner will supply its 8.7m wide and high speed BOPET line, which is loaded with multiple features for economical and efficient production of first class polyester films.

Trias Sentosa, which is a major film maker in Southeast Asia, has collaborated with Japanese specialty film producers to meet the growing demand from global barrier films market.

In Indonesia, two joint venture firms were established to manufacture and market different polyester packaging films.

Brückner said it has been selected to provide high speed BOPET line for production of polyester films.

The company provides a range of lines with various working widths and outputs for the production of thin flexible BOPET packaging film.

Brückner’s BOPET line features multi-gap stretching for high speeds and output, as well as improved optical and mechanical film properties.

Trias president director Sugeng Kurniawan said: “The key to making this exceptional cooperation a success is clear: absolute top film quality, especially for the very demanding Japanese market.

“To transform our joint know-how to the finest BOPET films we simply needed the best technology partner with convincing references – and found it in Brückner.”

PT Trias Sentosa manufactures products such as biaxially-oriented polypropylene film (BOPP film) and BOPET film.

The firm’s BOPP film products include matte BOPP film, metalized BOPP film, acrylic-coated BOPP film and white opaque BOPP film.

Its BOPET film product line is comprised of matte BOPET film, metalized BOPET film, polyvinylidene chloride-coated BOPET film and heat-sealable BOPET film.
