London-based consultancy, Leahy Brand Design, has unveiled a new global brand identity for Energizer, a leading name in household batteries.

The packaging design brief was to increase product differentiation through targeted and simplified pack communication with a clear feature icon. LBD chose ‘energy beams’ to represent ‘technology, connectivity and innovation’.

The new look will be rolled out globally across Energizer’s entire product portfolio, which includes portable lighting and chargers.

“The new packaging design will help provide clear guidance at the point of purchase to help consumers better understand battery performance and make informed decisions,” said Nick Powell, managing director of Energizer UK & Nordic Regions.
