The 2004 EFTA Annual Print Awards Gala Dinner is to be held at the Hilton Metropole Birmingham, UK, on March 1. The EFTA Masterclass proved so successful in 2003 that more are planned for 2004. The first will run at the National Print Skills Centre in Leicester, on February 10-13.

Dow Corning’s new Syl-Off 9102 thermal cure solventless silicone release coating is said to offer outstanding anchorage to unprimed and monolayer polyester – without clarity reducing corona treatment. A release modifier (Syl-Off 9150) is said to give the coating outstanding flexibility and make it possible to achieve very high differentials.
