Brand Packaging of Salford, UK, has ordered its third Rotomec gravure press from Valmet Converting. To be installed in April, the nine-unit Rotomec 4000-2 ES press will have a web width of 1,000mm and speed of 450m/min.
A large contract recently received from Sonoco Europe has enabled Brand to acquire the press, which will be tailored with the last two units to apply coldseal, and the eighth to apply a special lacquer.
