Amcor PET Packaging has extended its barrier PET capabilities with the introduction of Bind-Ox+™. The new technology was developed for non-carbonated beverages such as juices.
Bind-Ox+™ offers additional protection against delamination, ensuring that the quality of packs, particularly highly embossed and decorated containers, and their contents can be maintained.
The new material features improved adhesion. Bind-Ox+™ traps oxygen and binds it into the bottle wall. This prevents oxygen from ever reaching the product and ensures extended ambient shelf life.
Sangemini in Italy now uses AmGuard mutli-layer bottles with Bind-Ox+™ for its premium brand Vita juice drinks.
