The best dressed bird award goes to Linpac Plastics which has developed a whole bird poultry tray.
Its patented design includes ridges that direct liquor into the absorbent foam base. Dimples are incorporated on the underside of the bird to keep it in place.
The foam holds the liquor and moisture in the tray, reducing leakage to the shelf. This minimises unsightly liquor build up on heat sealed packs, says Linpac.
