US-based packaging services provider Berlin Packaging has completed its previously announced acquisition of the Le Parfait business and brands from O-I France SAS.

In October last year, Berlin Packaging has initially signed a binding agreement with O-I France to acquire Le Parfait business and brands.

With the acquisition, the company is enabled to strengthen its position as a supplier of high-quality glass containers in the B2B market, while growing in the B2C market.

Berlin Packaging EMEA CEO Paolo Recrosio said: “Today, we completed the acquisition of the Le Parfait brand, further reinforcing our leadership in the B2B premium glass packaging market and bringing exciting new opportunities in the consumer market.”

O-I France SAS has created the Le Parfait brand in France based on the tradition of preserving homemade jams, honey, and terrines.

The brand offers glass jars and lids manufactured by O-I France and its affiliates, at plants located in Puy-Guillaume, France and Sevilla, Spain.

The easily identifiable, durable glass jars feature natural and recycled rubber seals, providing a sustainable packaging solution.

To ensure the continuity of supply, O-I France will continue to manufacture the Le Parfait glass jars and lids under a long-term supply agreement with Berlin Packaging France.

Berlin Packaging is a supplier of glass, plastic, and metal containers and closures for hybrid packaging, in addition to providing package design, financing, consulting, warehousing, and logistics services.

Recently, the company has completed the acquisition of Premi, a packaging supplier specialised in dynamic and advanced solutions for the beauty and cosmetic industries.
