Plastic closures manufacturer Bericap said that it will open a production site north of Mexico City/Mexico to further strengthen its global presence.

The company recently put into operation its new warehouse in Nairobi/Kenya in order to react quickly to customer needs with a local focus on Kenya, Uganda and Somalia.
Bericap said it will unveil latest product solutions at this year’s FachPack trade fair in Nuremberg, Germany, which will take place from 25 to 27 September.
At the event, the company experts from all relevant business units will present latest closure solutions for the customers.
Bericap said the appeal of its products lies in consumer convenience and sustainability, while fulfilling the customers’ expectations.
The company’s plastic closure solutions can be used in various applications, including food and beverages, industrial, home care and OTC pharma.
Bericap communications and marketing group director Christoph Thünemann said: “FachPack in Nuremberg has been an integral part of our fair calendar for many years.
“This year we will put emphasis on our latest innovations like Bericap DIN 60 TAB, a safe, convenient and time-saving capping system for the industrial sector, and emphasize the assets of our innovative product range like our edible oil flow control 2-Flow and X-Flow or unique valve system for the food industry.”
Thünemann further added: “Bericap is present on many important national and international trade fairs – so we are at one of the most important European exhibitions in Nuremberg.”
FachPack is a major European trade fair for packaging, processing and technology. At the event, the companies will present a range of solutions for the packaging process chain for industrial and consumer goods.
With 24 production sites in 21 countries, Bericap is engaged in the development, manufacturing and marketing of advanced plastic closures and dispensers.
For beverage segment, Bericap provides closure solutions for aseptic filling, including flat caps and different types of sports caps. The company offers closures for different neck types ranging from 26mm to 38mm.
Featuring advanced bore seal technologies, the company’s closures can resist dry decontamination processes, as well as wet spray and bath decontamination.
