Plastic closures manufacturer Bericap is set to exhibit its advanced closure solutions at this year’s Packaging Innovations trade fair in the UK.

The event will take place between 28 February and 1 March in Birmingham

At the event, the company will showcase new 60mm and 63mm closures, as well as e-smoCap for e-liquids and closure solutions for canisters, metal packages, pesticides, lubricants, sauces & dressings, edible oil, food and beverages.

Bericap’s e-smoCap is a childproof closure designed for an easy refilling of e-cigarettes via narrow drip nozzle. The company installed a new production line to produce e-smoCap™vape bottle caps for the UK market.

The firm’s HexaLite 26/13mm and 29/13mm closures feature a cut and folded tamper evidence band that breaks easily on first opening. The lightweight closure solutions are suitable for still water.

Bericap will also exhibit closure solutions for all major PET neck finishes, which can be used for carbonated soft drinks, mineral water, juices and dairy products. Bericap Neo 30/17 is a weight-optimized closure for neck finish PET 30/25.

Bericap Crystal is a new two-piece sports closure, which features a tear strip with tamper evident functionality. It can be used for the PCO 1881, 29/25 neck and 26mm PET neck.

Bericap 2Flow closure can be used for neck finishes for liquid food products such as edible oil, soya sauce and vinegar.

The company’s portfolio also includes hinge closures. Its valve range is approved for foods, including fat-based products.

Bericap closures feature tamper evidence bands, which helps to avoid product piracy and counterfeiting for chemical products in the agricultural sector.

In addition, the firm developed special protection system through using laser printing. It enables to print a logo across both the closure body and the tamper evident band.

Bericap said apart from the new products, it will focus on the significant increase in capacity particularly in the UK.

The company runs 23 factories in 20 countries globally, covering Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia and North and South America.
