Ardagh Group, a provider of glass and metal products, has developed a new 12oz Heritage bottle for Nashville-based Yazoo Brewing.

The new beer bottle will be exhibited at the 2018 Craft Brewers Conference (CBC) in Nashville, which will take place between 1 and 3 May.

Designed and produced by Ardagh, the new beer bottle features Yazoo logo on the neck and the words Ardagh Glass on the shoulder.

The CBC 2018 decoration will be shown on the bottom of the bottle, once tapped back for a drink.

According to Ardagh, the glass bottle developed for Yazoo Brewing is 100% recyclable package.

Yazoo Brewing founder and owner Linus Hall said: “With so much care going into brewing a great beer, we feel that glass gives us the best chance to get that beer to our customers with low dissolved oxygen pickup.”

The new bottle will be used for Yazoo Brewing’s core beer brands, comprising of Pale Ale, Dos Perros, Hefeweizen, Sly Rye Porter, Hop Perfect IPA, Gerst, Pilsner, HOPRY Double IPA and Sue.

Yazoo Brewing will provide its beer products in six-pack bottles. The brewer will release the bottle in all major Nashville retailers from 30 April, an in time for the Craft Brewers Conference.

During CBC, Yazoo will also make the bottle available to all the bars on Broadway in Nashville.

“Working closely with Yazoo Brewing, we were able to develop the unique, branded bottle that was designed to run efficiently on both manufacturing and filling lines.”

Ardagh will also exhibit its craft beer packaging solutions at the CBC event.
