AptarGroup has acquired French beauty packaging solutions provider Reboul from Vacheron Industries for an enterprise value of €14m.

Reboul is engaged in the design and industrial production of metal components, metal-plastic sub-assemblies, next generation lipstick mechanisms and complete color cosmetic packaging solutions.

Aptar said the deal also offers an earn-out provision based on the 2018 financial results, which will help to increase the enterprise value to a maximum of €23m.

Reboul brings to Aptar advanced capabilities such as deep metal drawing, high speed metal stamping, as well as differentiated lipstick mechanism design and manufacturing.

The deal will also help Aptar to expand its presence in the color cosmetics market, in addition to serving more customers in the skincare and fragrance markets.

Since 1921, Reboul has been providing solutions to the major color cosmetics brands in the world.

Reboul operates an advanced manufacturing facility, which was constructed as per the RT2012 standards for optimized energy management.

Situated near to Aptar facility in Annecy of France, Reboul is said to offer close proximity to leaders in the global beauty industry.

Aptar provides a range of advanced dispensing solutions to the customers in the beauty, personal care, home care, prescription drug, consumer health care, injectables, food and beverage markets.

Based in Crystal Lake of Illinois, the company operates manufacturing facilities in North America, Europe, Asia and South America.
