Aptar Beauty, part of AptarGroup, has rolled out its new premium treatment pump, dubbed Amplitude, for beauty brands.

Available in either a 250 or 500miceolitre dose, Amplitude is a 24mm treatment pump suitable for beauty brands that seek to offer a more generous dosage with an improved and premium product experience.

Aptar said that the pumps are suitable for premium treatment products with added skincare benefits like facial, sun, body and hair care.

It is also said to match the premiumisation and skinification trends in the beauty market.

The Amplitude treatment pump offers a plentiful dosage, ideal for body care treatments and facial care products.

Aptar Beauty claimed that the pump’s design aligns with the prevailing prestige beauty trend in the market, under which the brands try to position their products on a more premium level.

Its twist-to-lock actuator removes the need for an over-cap while its priming action of viscous formulas delivers a soft actuation for increased consumer experience.

Aptar North America Beauty president Laura Estebanez said: “Premium brands in North America have long needed a regional solution for their treatment products.

“With Amplitude, we are offering a locally produced dispensing solution for a fast time to market. Its high-end aesthetics are aligned with prestige products, designed for an elevated look and feel.”

Aptar is making Amplitude locally in North America to ensure faster lead times in case of increased demand in the market.

Additionally, the company has invested in its Eatontown, New Jersey production facility to boost production capacity efficiency.

The plant can support high-volume production of the Amplitude dispensing system to aid in global launches.

In January, the company added two new aerosol actuators and fine mist spray, with up to 46% post-consumer recycled resin (PCR), to its sustainable dispensing solutions range.
