We have had chocolates for dogs and biscuits for dogs – but what is the latest luxury product the UK’s 7M dog owners can buy to give their much loved pet the very best?

The answer is the first beef-flavoured drink for dogs in a carton, packed with vitamins and minerals and packaged for convenience in a Tetra Prisma Aseptic 250ml portion pack.

The product is positioned as a tasty and healthy alternative to water and is said to be ideal to pour over dry dog food as an appetiser or on its own as a health drink.

Alpha Max has been invented by Richard Bailey of Nottinghamshire company Aldis Engineering and is being marketed and distributed in a joint initiative with K-Feeds from its headquarters at South Leverton, Retford. Alpha Max will be sold in pet shops and retail outlets throughout the country.

Mr Bailey selected Tetra Prisma 250ml cartons for a number of reasons. “These packs are perfect for us. They provide excellent pouring and hold the ideal single serve quantity. The robust and convenient packaging means that they are suitable for in-home use and storage as well as being easy to transport..

“Tetra Pak’s aseptic technology also ensures the vitamins and minerals contained in Alpha Max maintain their maximum effectiveness.”
