Building on their decades-long commitment to protecting the earth, the soft coffee pod packaging is completely sustainable and certified compostable.
Alliant’s BPI® certified compostable soft coffee pod packaging creates absolutely no waste from the start. The coffee is roasted in a facility with 100% green electricity, powered by Bullfrogpowered.
The innovative soft coffee pod film in combination with nitrogen flushing keeps each pod free from oxygen degradation and preserves the quality of the freshly ground coffee inside, all while the pod and packaging can be thrown directly into a compost bin.
Unlike biodegradable products, compostable items decompose into all-natural elements within one to four months. Biodegradable materials can take years to completely decompose, and often leave trace metals behind. Compost will naturally break down into a nutrient rich mixture that can be used to nurture a new generation of plants, and start the cycle again.
