The tags are sealed into the container wall during injection moulding, making them resistant to damage from impact, abrasion, moisture and contaminants.
‘AlliTag’ enables users to track container movements, to identify contents, destination and ownership. It also helps inventory control of both the contents and container. Potential thieves should be kept at bay as the tag is moulded into the body of the container and cannot be prised off.
The tags operate at 13.56MHz to avoid electro-magnetic interference and to allow contact-free reading in one-tenth of a second.
Two types of tag are available, read-only which carry a unique identification number and read/write tags that also feature a 216 character re-recordable memory.
